Mr. Abdel Rahman Marwan Mousa Allan, an undergraduate student in the Department of Applied Physics and Astronomy, College of Sciences at the University of Sharjah, won the best poster award for his senior project work 'Tuning SERS activities of pyramidal-nanowire/silver chemo-sensors for effective detection of multi-hazardous pollutants' in Frontiers in Materials Science and Engineering (FMSE) conference organized by American University of Sharjah, UAE during February 13-15, 2024. He is an active researcher at the Center for Advanced Materials Research Lab under the supervision of Dr. Mounir Gaidi and Dr. Kais Daoudi
