A group of junior students from the Petroleum Geosciences and Remote Sensing (PGRS) Program, Department of Applied Physics and Astronomy, University of Sharjah, participated in the ADIPEC 2025 Exhibition and Conference held in Abu Dhabi on 3 November 2025. This educational trip was organized by Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Fattah, Ms. Asma Alnaqbi, and Ms. Nouf Alteneiji to provide students with valuable exposure to the latest advancements in oil and gas exploration and development. During the visit, students attended a series of technical lectures, workshops, and interactive sessions conducted by leading energy companies and professionals. The experience allowed students to connect their academic learning in petroleum geoscience courses with real-world industry applications, enhancing their understanding of modern technologies, energy transition strategies, and digital innovations in the petroleum sector. The trip strengthened the link between academic study and professional practice, aligning with the program’s goal of preparing students for future careers in energy and geosciences.
