On 11 February 2026, the Department of Applied Physics & Astronomy proudly announced that our student Ghalya Ahmed Ali Abbas Alblooshi, in collaboration with alumni from the Electrical Engineering program, won third place at the 19th Asia-Pacific Conference on Giftedness (APCG 2026).Their project, “Tayyar,” was selected from over 300 competing teams across Asia, marking a significant achievement for the university. The project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and reflects the commitment of our students to innovative, impactful, and socially responsible solutions.This accomplishment highlights the excellence, creativity, and collaborative spirit of our students and alumni at the international level.
