On 10 February 2026, the Department of Applied Physics & Astronomy organized a Geology Field Day, providing students with hands-on exposure to real-world geological investigation techniques. The field trip involved visiting a specific geological site for observation, data collection, and practical analysis.During the trip, students explored rock formations, sedimentary structures, and surface features relevant to their coursework.
