Biotechnology Students Participate in Guinness World Record Attempt
Students of the fourth-year Biotechnology program participated in the Guinness World Record attempt through the Largest Honey Pollen Workshop, which was held on February 10, 2026, as part of the second day of the second edition of the Fujairah International Conference on Bee Research. This participation was part of the Plant Biotechnology course activities.
The event provided an excellent opportunity for our students to gain hands-on experience in identifying pollen from different plant species. It also allowed them to interact with experts in the field of honeybee research, including academics, researchers, beekeepers, and honey judges from around the world. This experience greatly enriched the students’ practical knowledge and enhanced their exposure to international scientific and professional networks.
