On 17 November 2025, fourth-year Applied Biology students participated in a field visit to Julphar Pharmaceutical Company in Ras Al Khaimah. During the visit, students toured key production units, including the Biotechnology Department, where they were introduced to the industrial manufacturing processes of insulin and erythropoietin. The visit provided valuable exposure to both upstream and downstream processing operations and allowed students to observe real-world applications of microbial and bioprocessing technologies.
