The College of Pharmacy at the University of Sharjah, in collaboration with Roche UAE, offered a four-week Summer Internship Program from June 15 to July 10, 2026, providing five College of Pharmacy students with valuable exposure to the pharmaceutical industry and a professional workplace environment. During the first two weeks, students were introduced to foundation and corporate strategy, gaining insights into Roche’s organizational structure, the pharmaceutical business environment, and strategic priorities. The third week focused on strategy, data, and operations, providing exposure to data-driven decision-making and key operational processes within the pharmaceutical sector. During the final week, students participated in field experiences and practical simulations, enabling them to observe and apply professional concepts in real-world industry settings. Through the internship, students strengthened their professional skills, industry awareness, communication, teamwork, and career readiness, while gaining a broader understanding of the pharmaceutical industry. The program reflects the College of Pharmacy’s commitment to experiential learning, industry engagement, and meaningful partnerships that complement academic education and prepare students for future careers in the pharmaceutical sector.
