The College of Pharmacy at the University of Sharjah organized an Orientation and Training Day on Academic Advising and Guidance for New Pharmacy Students on September 10, 2026, at the College of Pharmacy.

The program was designed to support new pharmacy students in their transition to university life and familiarize them with key academic requirements, resources, and expectations. The sessions covered the College study plan, academic advising, ExamSoft and Blackboard systems, academic misconduct and discipline, student portfolios, and professional communication and writing etiquette.

The program featured contributions from the Dean and faculty members of the College of Pharmacy, providing students with practical guidance and an opportunity to better understand the academic and professional expectations of their pharmacy education.

The initiative reflects the College’s commitment to student success, effective academic advising, and supporting new students from the beginning of their academic journey.
