Master’s Student Sarah Mosabbah Alyammahi Wins Prestigious GCC Youth Award
The College of Pharmacy at the University of Sharjah proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of Sarah Mosabbah Alyammahi, a first-year master's student in the Pharmaceutical Sciences program, who had the honor of representing the United Arab Emirates at the GCC Youth Celebration held by the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Sara was awarded the GCC General Secretariat Award for Outstanding Young Gulf Talents in the presence of H.E. Ambassador Sheikh Nahyan bin Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan and Mr. Khaled Al Nuaimi, Director of the UAE Federal Youth Authority.
This recognition highlights her ambitious vision to empower youth in the fields of healthcare and scientific research, as well as her commendable accomplishments in these areas. Sara is currently preparing her master’s thesis with a focus on brain cancer research, under the supervision of Prof. Karim El-Zu'bi, Dean of the College of Pharmacy.
