Five faculty members from the College of Pharmacy at the University of Sharjah have been recognized among the world’s top 2% of scientists in the 2025 author databases of standardized citation indicators, marking a significant collective achievement for the College and reflecting the international impact of its research.

Professor Mohammed El-Gamal, Professor Hany Omar, Professor Mohamed Haider, and Professor Sameh Soliman were recognized in the Single-Year category, while Dr. Zahid Hussain was recognized in both the Single-Year and Career categories. This distinction reflects the strong citation impact, sustained scholarly contributions, and global visibility of the College’s researchers.

The recognition underscores the College of Pharmacy’s growing international research profile and its continued commitment to research excellence, high-impact scholarship, and advancing knowledge across the pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences.
