The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at the University of Sharjah participated in the 10th Joint Project Team Meeting for Sentinel Asia STEP-3 (JPTM2025), held from 10–12 February 2026, in collaboration with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, where Prof. Rami Al-Ruzouq served as a panelist alongside national stakeholders from MBRSC, UAE Space Agency, FGIC, Space42, and NECDMA, highlighting the role of satellite imagery and artificial intelligence in strengthening disaster risk management frameworks in the UAE.
