Glimpses from Zayed National Museum at the University of Sharjah
On Tuesday, February 11, 2025, the Department of Architectural Engineering at the University of Sharjah hosted an introductory session on Zayed National Museum, providing insights into the museum’s vision, educational programs, and volunteer opportunities. During the session, the team from Zayed National Museum introduced its Volunteer Program, Ambassador Program, and annual research grants, which support museum and heritage-related studies. As a gesture of appreciation, the team also distributed souvenirs to attendees. Moderated by Eslam Nofal, Assistant Professor in the Department of Architectural Engineering, the event witnessed great engagement from faculty members and students, sparking discussions on the role of national museums in preserving heritage and fostering cultural awareness. This session is part of the University’s ongoing efforts to connect students with experts in museums and heritage management.
