This achievement highlights the college’s commitment to academic excellence, rigorous training, and student-led accomplishment on a highly visible regional platform. The AEEDC Student Competition brings together leading dental schools to test students’ knowledge, clinical reasoning, and decision-making under competitive conditions. The University of Sharjah’s performance reflected strong preparation, confidence, and teamwork, supported by a structured learning environment and close faculty mentorship.

Commenting on the recognition, Professor Sausan Al Kawas, the Acting Dean of the College, noted that the award is a proud reflection of its student-centered educational model and the high standards embedded across the undergraduate program. The success also reinforces the college’s wider mission to graduate dentists who combine scientific foundations with sound clinical judgment and professional readiness.

The University of Sharjah extends congratulations to the students who represented the college (Massa Abdulhaleem Khabbaz, Rafah Omar Sheikh, Layan Khalid, Dana Abu Alfailat, and Ebaa Alborom), as well as to Dr. Abier Abdul Sattar, who contributed to their preparation.
