​A master's thesis in Fiqh (Jurisprudence) and Its foundations entitled: “The Preference of Evidence in Fatwas - by Abd al-Rahman bin Suleiman al-Saruqani al-Rumi, known as Khaasali - may God have mercy on him - who passed away in 1087 AH - 1676 AD - (Study and Validation)." was submitted for a viva voce defence by Mr. Ibrahim Muhammad Maysar Al-Murad, a master's student in Fiqh (jurisprudence) and its foundations, The Viva Voce was held in the Ibn Hanbal Auditorium, Female Campus, College of Shari'ah and Islamic Studies, on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 4pm. The Viva voce defense committee was consisted of Dr. Samya Elfatih Taha, (thesis supervisor), Dr. Ibrahim Ali Al-Mansouri (External Examiner), Dr. Dalila Berraf (Internal Examiner and Chairman of the Committee), and Dr. Saeed Sulaiman Alnaqbi (Second Internal Examiner).        ​
