Essentials of Cardiopulmonary Clinical Investigations for Physiotherapists

Essentials of Cardiopulmonary Clinical Investigations for Physiotherapists
12th March 2020, M23- Room 029

The seminar will cover all the important investigations which would help in clinical decision making. Pulmonary function test is an important investigation to decide the pulmonary rehabilitation protocol for patients suffering from chronic respiratory diseases. The interpretation of ABG reports is very useful in body positioning and planning early mobilization protocol for patients suffering from acute medical conditions. Electrocardiogram interpretation is very important in identifying life threatening emergencies in ICU and in cardiac rehabilitation centers. Chest X rays form the basis for planning the chest Physiotherapy. Stress testing and cardiac enzymes are key in planning the progressive mobilization for patients with cardiac diseases. The participants will get benefitted by group discussions and problem solving methods used during the seminar.
