Teaching is a talent; it could be gifted and could be acquired as well. I believe that there are essential elements that are propitious to learning. The lecturer’s role is not only to act as a guide through the teaching journey but to be a figure for student and act in professional and ethical behavior. Moreover, I believe that there is no single tailored way of teaching and dealing with students but there are essential principles that need to be present in order to make lecturer successful such as, patience, empathy, adaptable, drive for self-improvement, ability to manage stress and good communication skills.
