International Day of the Girl

On Monday, 31st of October, Department of Medical Diagnostic Imaging participated at the event titled International Day of the Girl which was organized by Department of Nursing as part of a community service activity. The MDI students displayed educational posters that linked diagnostic imaging tests and different pathologies that might affect young girls at different stages of life. Students also provided brief demonstration on how to do breast self-examination and fun games regarding detection of pathologies in ultrasound images.
