Dr.Huseiyn Ozan Tekin, Dr. Nabeel Al Yateem, Dr. Leilah Cheikh Ismail, Dr. Ghulam MD Ashraf were listed among the world's most influential researchers ("Top 2% Scientists"), published by Stanford University, using Scival (Elsevier) platform data.

AWARDS AND PRIZES 2022-2023

  • ​Dr. Lucy Semerjian received an award on behalf of the Department of Environmental Health Sciences and won the Sustainability Star Award in the Stars competition on 20th February 2023  in the “Department” category during the Sustainability Circles Event.

  • Prof. Fatma Hegazy received an award as one of the best sustainability circles leaders in the Sustainability Circles Event on Monday, 20th February 2023.
  • Dr. Alham Jehad Ali Al-Sharman won the award for Best Poster Presentation at the seventh Middle East North Africa Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis Congress(MENACTRIMS).

      The research title is " Cross-Cultural Adaptation and Psychometric Evaluation of        the Arabic Physical Activity and Disability Survey-Revised (A-PADS-R) in People        with Multiple Sclerosis".

  • Dr. Huseyin Ozan Tekin from the MDI Department of the College of Health Sciences has been ranked 2nd in the United Arab Emirates and 489th in the world among the World's Rising Stars of Science in 2022.

The prestigious scientific forum RESEARCH.COM has just published the 2022 Ranking of the Rising Stars of Science. As per their newly established H-index-based ranking through Microsoft Academic Graph, only scientists who published their first paper less than 13 years ago were considered.

Only 3 scientists are listed in this list from the UAE (https://research.com/scientists-rankings/rising-stars/ae) and Dr. Huseyin Ozan Tekin has been ranked 2nd in the United Arab Emirates and 489th in the world. 

Dr. Huseyin Ozan Tekin has also been recognized with the 2022 Rising Star of Science Award Certificate​
