This year's Sikka Art and Design Festival featured CFAD Students' work showcasing their artwork among those of professional artists. Akaas Visual Arts' founder, Jassim Al Awadhi, selected paintings of junior fine arts students Rawan Mohi, Samir Zanty and Sara Kamar to include in one gallery. These were completed under the supervision of Artist-Tutor Thaier Helal. Freshman Aziza Alhammadi's installation “Patience" was also part of this years festival. Her work “represent(s) the weight someone carries before learning patience."
