. Dr. Shahin has been designated as the world's top 2% of scientists by the U.S. based Stanford University for the years 2019 and 2021. The list represents the top 2 per cent of the most-cited scientists in various disciplines. In addition, Dr. Shahin has been ranked, based on his research, as the 22nd at the level of the University of Sharjah with a total of 650 faculty members for the year 2019. All thanks to the President of the University of Sharjah, his Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, for this distinguished honor at the university for a number of scholars of the research and teaching body at the University of Sharjah among the top 2% of scientists in the world, of which I had the honor of being a part (May 30th, 2022). 2.
