My teaching philosophy has emerged through my academic and professional experiences in university settings and consulting firms. These experiences have assured me that in order for students to learn, retain, and apply knowledge, the teaching materials and style must be interesting, and greatly related to real life experiences. My goals as a teacher are to communicate knowledge accurately and thoroughly, share passion for knowledge and curiosity with students, inspire their creativity, develop their critical thinking ability, teach them how to approach problems independently, and encourage them to seek greater understanding of how to make good use of what they learn.
