Dr.Radhi Muhsin AlZubaidi DIRECTOR OF CONTINUOUS EDUCATION CENTER AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT Academic RankAssociate Professor

Specialization:

  • Ph.D., Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering), Strathclyde University, Glasgow, United Kingdom, 1984.

Research Interests:

  • In situ testing represents a great potential to test the soil in place with out bring the samples to the laboratory. Pressuremeter testing represents one of the promising in situ and new type of devices to test the soil in place, different theories and calculations for the shear strength, horizontal at rest pressure, elastic modulus, limit pressure and horizontal coefficient of consolidation of the soil were deduced from one test, all these items need deep investigations and examining. Another trend of interest is project managements where the new attitude in design process using the BIM which reflect a great reduction in cost of construction and eliminate such variations.
