The Department of Preventive and Restorative Dentistry interfaces with the Department of Oral and Craniofacial Health Sciences in developing a motivating environment for dental education.
Clinical education for students begins during their first year in the College and full dental clerkship commences in the fourth year. Senior clinical students practice patient care, while being intensively supervised by a team of clinical faculty and instructors who specialize in various dental fields. Dental clinical services are equipped with ultra-modern dental technology, which may handle any dental case ranging from a routine dental check-up to tooth whitening procedures and advanced dental implant surgery.
Students, faculty, tutors, dental hygienists, nurses, dental technologists, dental radiographers, and CSSD technicians make up the professional team, which ensures a pleasant experience for every patient visiting our Academic Dental Center.
