UDHS registered and participated in the nomination of an age-friendly establishment. On September 14th, 2022, UDHS had an initial assessment visit from the Executive Office of the Sharjah Age-Friendly City program committee. The visit included a presentation on the operational activities on how UDHS is meeting the oral & dental health needs of elderly patients. Followed by a tracing activity for the building. UDHS was evaluated on three main criteria themes which are the following:
