published research in peer-reviewed international research journals in the area of family, social problems, school violence unemployment, poverty, terrorism and family violence. The most excellent of his research: school violence in UAE, unemployment in UAE, family in UAE and social problems in UAE. Most of his work is policy oriented research

Teaching Philosophy
Prof. Alomosh has taught many courses including Advanced social theory, Advanced social research, Crime Prevention, community Policing, Criminal Justice and UAE society. In his teaching, he has been using a problem solving approach , and Blackboard as a teaching aid. He obtained excellent ratings in peer and student evaluations. On the assessment level, he makes students assess their learning throughout the course by letting them refer to the course learning objective and reflect on how and what leaning objective they have achieved from the course.
