A team of students from the Department of Sociology with Dr. Omaima Abu Al-Khair, associate professor, attended the first meeting of the Social Support Center in Sharjah Police, entitled “A Safe Family, A Safe Society." The meeting began with an opening speech by His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, Saif Al Shamsi. The meeting focused on four main aspects:
- Kanaf child house project
- Security and community responsibility for the Social Support Center
- Safe family challenges.
- Basic values for raising children
