The Cultural Committee and the Seminar headed by Dr. Omaima Abu Al-Khair, Associate Professor of Sociology in the Department, held the second scientific seminar on Tuesday, November 1, at 12:00 noon in Al-Farabi hall. She discussed many concepts such as gender and empowerment, and discussed many issues such as: feminization of poverty, reproductive health, violence against women, and professional problems facing women, with a focus on the university professor as a model. She emphasized the privacy of every society and culture in addressing and addressing women's issues, especially issues that are kept silent.
Following the rich presentation, the discussion was opened and the interventions of the attendees were opened. The seminar was attended by a group of professors from the department and college and from all branches, and students of the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
