Within the extra-curricular activities of the popular culture course, Dr. Noura Al-Karbi organized an event (Folk Food) in cooperation with the Society of the Department of Sociology and students of the popular culture course from the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
The event began with national and heritage music presented by students of the popular culture course at the college level, then opened in the presence of Dr. Salama Al Rahoumi, Dean of Student Affairs and the faculty at the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. Dr. Noura Al-Karbi spoke about the importance of enhancing theoretical knowledge of the curricula, by organizing field activities related to the content being taught, with the support of the Deanship of the College through the availability of needs that encourage students in these various initiatives.
