Dr. Roula Maya, a Visiting
Professor at the Department of Sociology, participated in the Sharjah
International Conference on Post-Covid-19 Teaching and Learning, employability,
and skills-based curricula from March 14 to 16, 2022. Dr. Maya presented a
research paper entitled "The Psychological, Behavioral and Social Effects
of E-learning during Covid-19 Pandemic and the Creative Educational Practices
in Post-Covid19 Phase: A Case Study on a Sample of Students of the College of
Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Sharjah". The
paper aimed at identifying the positive and negative psychological, behavioral
and social effects of e-learning during Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the students’ interests and creative educational practices
after the pandemic. The Session was attended by a group of academics and
students from the University of Sharjah and various Arab and foreign
universities and research institutions.
