“I joined the Department of Sociology in 2018 as a teaching assistant in addition to being a graduate student. It is worth noting that my presence at the University of Sharjah, specifically the Department of Sociology, provided me with the opportunity that served as the beginning for my entry into the field of scientific research, especially since this golden opportunity that I had was fraught with a constellation. Among the professors are like scholars in the fields of sociology who have illuminated my path and illuminated my bed; Today, in 2024, I can only say that the amount of development that the Department of Sociology has achieved, whether in its academic system or its research career, is the result of effort and hard, diligent work from all its members, including the department head, distinguished professors, loyal employees, and diligent students; Congratulations to the University of Sharjah for its distinction. The Department of Sociology, as one of the departments of the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, played a major role in illuminating and elevating the educational system at the university. Being the only major in the country that studies applied sociology with its three programs: Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate, in various specializations; I pray to God Almighty to bless and preserve this scientific achievement. And to increase its brilliance and distinction.
