  • Research Areas • My primary research area is corpus linguistics. • I am interested in creating annotated dialectal Arabic corpora and lexicons. • I am also interested in corpus-based approaches to sociolinguistic studies and narrative analysis. • Finally, I work on creating basic language processing automatic tools for dialectal Arabic such as morphological analyzers, part-of-speech taggers, and shallow parsers.
