The DFL invited the UoS community to join an introductory course on the French language. In just one hour and 30 minutes after the announcement was sent, 77 individuals eagerly enrolled ( faculty, staff and students at UoS). The registration link was closed, and everyone who showed interest was kindly invited to be a part of the training. The 77 applicants were divided into two groups.

The main goal of this training program was to give everyone an introduction to the basics of French. Throughout four sessions, each lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes, learners were introduced to the fundamental aspects of the language. By the end of training, certificates were distributed to the participants who attended all the sessions.​
