Students from the Department of Foreign Languages attended the Wiki-Youth Day during the Wiki Arabia Conference, which was held at Mohammed Bin Rashid Library, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 28-30 October 2022.  Students attended workshops on creative writing skills, presentation skills, website editing skills, and photography, as well as sessions related to various Wikimedia projects including Wikipedia, Wikidata, and Wikisource.  These skills are highly important for DFL students who are also taking part in the Kateb Maktub project, an initiative by the Emirates Literature Foundation that aims at enriching the Wikipedia content with Arab authors.
