I always consider that the mission of teachers in general and the university professors in particular is a noble and honest one, that harmonize education with science and gives students practical skills to help them succeed in life. Therefore, I follow different methods in teaching the four Arabic language skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. These methods could be electronic or paper based ones. The teaching strategy is focused on the learner, and takes into account the interaction between the teacher and the learner within and outside the classroom. To succeed, it is necessary to define the objectives of the lesson presented, and to plan the necessary methods and activities taking into consideration time management. Appropriate evaluation (presentation, practice, and production), and the reinforcement and feedback tools for the subject and the student should also be taken into account. While teaching and interacting with students, remedial plans for week students will be implemented. Some additional skills to help outstanding students continue their excellence such as critical thinking will be applied. In this context, I often urge students to be creative and apply what they have learned onto real life, and to pursue their studies and research about their majors. I always keep in mind to be honest at work and be aware of the university regulations and bylaws and respect the customs and the traditions of the UAE as well.
