The Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the University of Sharjah has achieved a decent place among Arabic language departments in the Arab world, in a quarter of a century, and it has become an important pole in serving the Arabic language. I had various scientific occasions to visit the department, during which I met his faculty; which is one if the elite Arabic scientists and researchers in the Arab world. They have established roots in serving the Arabic language, with valuable researches. In the department, I saw research achievements by the higher studies students, and elegant scientific discussions, combining originality and modernity. The greatest honor of this department is that the founder of the university, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, may Allah protects him; A lover of Arabic, a sponsor of projects for its prosperity, who seeks to empower it in the hearts of young people and raise its status in people’s lives.

It has been an interesting and unforgettable experience for me to spend two years in Arabic Department at the University of Sharjah, as a member of a cooperative staff of distinguished academicians serving Arabic language and its culture, literature, and identity. The Arabic Department is opened at different interests of UAE ' society and involved in the national, human, and civilizational issues, and is considered a minaret of studying, teaching, and researching in the country. And realizing the visions of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi, may God protect him and grant him good health.

I spent several years of my life in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the University of Sharjah. I did my BA and my MA there. I met the best Arabic language professors in the world. The environment was very encouraging and motivating. We did so much as members of the Arabic Language Students Society and spent a lot of time in the auditorium reciting a play, attending a seminar, or engaging in an activity. This department means a lot to me. When I think of it, I think of so many beautiful memories for me and for my classmates who are now scattered all over the Arab world, applying the precious education we received in this beacon of knowledge.
