  • My current research focuses on the history of sumptuary regulation and state policy. My secondary interest lies in the field of new institutional economics and the political sociology of post-colonial development. Previous research has focussed on tribal developmental politics in India, religious fundamentalism, totalitarian movements, and classical marxist theory
