Faculty members and students of Applied physics and astronomy started working on DEWA R&D Center AlBaheth Funding Program

A group of students of the Petroleum Geosciences and Remote Sensing program started working recently on a research project sponsored by DEWA R&D Center. The research project is entitled "Identifying wetting front in soil below solar panels. A multi-discipline approach of geophysical and hydrogeology method" and aims at developing a systematic methodology based on geophysical methods for monitoring and testing the wetting front in the soil subsurface, which can improve the irrigation system efficiency beneath the solar panels.

Dr Hamdan Hamdan and Dr Daniel Moraetis are supervising this project while the student's participating in this research project are:
