Project Entitled: Development of Molecular Techniques for accurate detection of pig traces in food
Description: The threat posed by food adulteration has moved from being fraudulence to a highly sophisticated business. Thereby, the identification of food origins and compositions is needed for religious, health and conservation regulations reasons. Here in this project, we developed a qualitative and quantitative molecular protocol based on food DNA investigation to detect the presence of Pig DNA in Gelatine based food.
