The department of Applied Physics and Astronomy organized a field trip to Jebel Al Faya and Buhais Geological Park to study and explore different geological features. The field trip was co-organized by Dr. Daniel Moraetis, Dr Hamdan Hamdan, and Ms Asma Al Naqbi in the frames of the courses: Physical Geology and Introduction to Geology courses (Petroleum Geosciences and Remote Sensing). A total of 40 students participated in this field trip, who had the chance to observe different type of rocks and geological features. Pictures from the field trip are attached below.
