Welcome to the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacotherapeutics. Over the last years, we have grown our expertise and competence in the core pharmacological and clinical curriculum and research.
The vision of the department is committed to ensuring leadership in practice-related education, basic and clinical research, and professional services in various health care settings. We bring our basic and clinical research expertise into our educational structure, making for a real-world education that is mindful of the future of pharmacy.
The department is comprised of drug and disease experts invested in the clinical, economic, and policy related applications of pharmaceutical care. Our faculty use these skills to train professional students in the rational delivery and evaluation of medication and disease state management. In addition to outstanding clinical skills, our faculty engages in cutting-edge research resulting in scientific papers, textbook chapters, national, and international presentations. The Department continues to build a research focus on basic pharmacological aspects and the evaluation of the practice of pharmacy in the nation.
The department hosts a M.Sc. (Pharmacology track) and Pharm. D. programs that develop and train future scientists and clinical pharmacists. The department faculty are organized into:
