I believe that faculty member must be a role model for his/her students. He/she must be self-motivated and disciplined to meet the performance expectations of peers within the institution. Medicinal chemistry is considered by the most of the students as a difficult subject and hard to be understood, I think this is the primary challenge for me. Therefore, the goal of the course are evaluated regularly, as this will help me see where the class is going. I believe that university professors are ethically obligated to prepare and present material and conduct themselves in relation to their students in a specific way. As a university instructor, it’s my responsibility to enter each class fully prepared and to provide my students with clear explanations and policies in the syllabus. I am strongly convinced that successful teachers are those who possess the ability to explain, express their ideas effectively, respond to students’ questions and be available during office hours.
