The Department
uses in house four state of the art Clinical skills laboratories
equipped with comprehensive teaching / learning tools including set of
mannequins, examination coaches stethoscopes and simulation models for
various clinical procedures such as I.V cannulations, sensitive
examination models, breast & prostate examination model etc.
In
addition the department uses eight large Primary Healthcare Centers
located at various areas within Sharjah for the comprehensive Family
Medicine Clerkship Program , as well as 2 major psychiatric hospitals
(Al Amal Hospital , Saif Bin Ghobah Hospital and mental health
outpatient clinic at Kuwaiti hospital)
