​One of the major academic challenge a student faces during the preclinical years is to understand the core principles of physiology and their application.  Confucius once said, “I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand”. We also firmly believe that all basic  concepts in physiology need to be translated into applied  knowledge by active learning. Such an approach helps students in assimilating the theoretical knowledge. With this principle in mind, a physiology lab in the Basic Medical Science Department was established.
