Dr. Derrick Moore
Dr. Moore is an Emergency Consultant who was born, raised and educated in Canada. He currently serves as the Head of Department at the American Hospital ER. He has experience working as an ER Physician in Canada, Saudi Arabia, China, the Northern Marianas Islands and UAE. He served as an Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia for many years, teaching medical students and Family Practice residents rotating through the ER. He has worked as a Consultant at Rashid Hospital Trauma Center and was present at the start of its ER Residency Program. He supervised the Clinical Decision Unit in Nanaimo Canada for many years. He has a special interest in ultrasound, procedural sedation and medical education.
Dr. Mueed Ahmad
Dr. Mueed Ahmad is a fellow of Royal College of Emergency Medicine London UK ( FRCEM ) , Royal College of Surgeon Edinburgh ( FRCS ) and holds a Masters in Medicine from National University ( M.MED) of Singapore.
He completed his specialist training CCST in Emergency Medicine from Queens Medical Center Nottingham.
After completing his CCST he joined as a Consultant at Royal Albert Edward Infirmary Wigan Manchester, UK.
Dr Mueed has specialist interests in Trauma , Acute Medicine and Medical Education. He is also instructor for ATLS and Resuscitation council UK. He is also a senior examiner for the Royal College London and a regular speaker in many National and International Medical Conferences. Currently Dr Mueed is working as consultant Emergency Medicine at American hospital Dubai UAE.
Dr. Ramon Navarro Balbuena
Dr. Ramon Navarro Balbuena is a dual trained neurosurgeon and neurointerventionalist. Currently, he is serving as a Consultant at American Hospital in Dubai . He is an experienced surgeon with advanced training pediatric and spine neurosurgery. Now, he has a special interest in cerebrovascular disease and the endovascular treatment of stroke. His surgical and academic experience spans over several countries including Spain (university of Barcelona), United States (Mayo Clinic, Stanford University, University of Miami and Northwestern University) and the United Arab Emirates (Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi). He also has been active with humanitarian neurosurgery missions in Africa and Central America. He has co-authored numerous publications in the neurosurgical field and he also is an ad hoc reviewer for some of the mostprestigious neurosurgical journals.
