Special interest in trauma surgery education, DVT prophylaxis in trauma and coagulopathy in trauma. Active in Medical Student and surgical resident education at McGill University with organization of training courses and lecture presentations. Researched DVT prophylaxis in trauma at McGill University. Publications in International Journal of case reports and reviewer for International Journal of case reports and other international Journals.
Dr. Amir Mohamed Rabee Ahmed Saber
Dr Amir is specialist general surgeon in Dubai Health Authority. He began his medical education at the University of Mansoura which he completed in 2004. He built up a wealth of clinical experience by acquiring a master's degree in general surgery from Ain Shams University in 2011, followed by an Egyptian board and an Arab board in General Surgery, certified in 2013 and 2017 respectively. During his training he discovered a special interest in surgical oncology which he subsequently pursued and is currently finishing his PhD at Mansoura University of medicine. Dr Amir's clinical interest is matched by passion to teach and along his training path he has made it a point to always be teaching and guiding students and junior residents alike. In addition he has always stressed with his students on the important of evidence-based medicine which is manifesting in his authorship on the topics of both oncologic and general surgery along with mentoring of students within their own clinical research.
