Dr. Ahmed Awad Salim EL-Hakeem
Dr. Ahmed trained and practiced general surgery in Connolly Hospital, an affiliate of the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland. He attained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1995. He received his Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery from European Institute of Telesurgery, Strasbourg, France (2000). Dr. Ahmed worked as a Surgical Lecturer in Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland (1998 - 2000), and as a Consultant General Surgeon in various hospitals such as Erne Hospital, Craigavon Area Hospital in North Ireland and Boomfield, Frenchay Hospital, and South Tyneside Hospital in the United Kingdom (2000 – 2012). Dr. Ahmed has a special interest in general gastrointestinal disease including Anorectal conditions, upper and lower GI Endoscopy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, all hernia repairs and breast and thyroid surgery. Dr. Ahmed is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland (1995), and a member of The European Association of Endoscopic Surgeons (EAES). As well as the European Institute of Telesurgery (EITS).
Dr. Ali Al Ghrebawi completed his Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Baghdad, Iraq. Dr. Ali is a Facharzt in General Surgery, Digestive Surgery and Proctology. Dr. Ali Ghrebawi has vast 15 years’ experience in the field of General Surgery, Digestive Surgery and Proctology. He was worked with several international hospitals in Europe and Middle East namely Chief of General and Digestive Surgery, Surgery Center, Germany and Head of Coloproctology, Ludmillenstit Hospital, Germany. Dr. Ali’s areas of expertise includes Laparoscopic dealing with the colorectal diseases such as cancers & rectum prolapse, Lap Sleeve operations, Proctology, Hiatus Hernia and all other kinds of Hernia. Dr. Ali has completed several international courses including Colorectal Cancer Course from Cleveland Clinic- USA, European digestive surgery course, Master Class Proctology – France and European Colorectal Oncology to name a few. Dr. Ali has various publications and presentations to his name, the latest being Urinary and Fecal incontinence. Dr Ali is a member of several international associations including International Lap. Colorectal Surgery, European Society of Surgery, Germanian Society of General Surgery, Germanian Society of Digestive Surgery, Germanian Society of MIC and Germanian Society of Coloproctology.
Dr. Tagore Grandhi
Dr. Tagore completed his graduation and post-graduation in General Surgery from prestigious Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam, India. He completed his higher surgical training and obtained FRCS from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK. He was awarded a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery by University of Strasbourg, Strasbourg, France. He did Fellowship in Bariatric Surgery from Legacy Health System Portland, USA and Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery from University of Kentucky, Lexington, USA. Dr. Tagore Grandhi has over 20 years of experience in the field of General Surgery out of which 17 years in Laparoscopic Surgeries & 10 years in Bariatric Surgery. He worked for more than 8 years in reputed hospitals in UK and obtained training in Gastrointestinal and Laparoscopic Surgery. He is trained in Laparoscopic and Robotic Colorectal Surgery from Korea University Anam Hospital.During his training in the USA, he has performed more than 400 Bariatric surgeries and equal number of Laparoscopic Surgeries. He has performed thousands of Laparoscopic Surgeries including advanced laparoscopic procedures related to stomach, intestines, colon, spleen and different types of hernias.
Dr. Priya Devadas
Dr. Priya has completed Bachelors of Medicine & Surgery from Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College, Masters in General Surgery from Madurai Medical College and MBA in Hospital Administration from Tamil Nadu University. Dr. Priya has over 10 years of experience as a Specialist, General Surgeon in the UAE and India. She has worked in the Indian Army, PSG Institution of Medical Services and Research and in one of the prominent hospitals in the UAE.
Dr. T. Sathish Kumar
Dr. Sathish Kumar completed MBBS in 1994 from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Chennai in India and MS (General Surgery) in 1998 from Kasturba Medical College (MAHE), Mangalore, India. He has completed several special training courses namely Resident fellowship in Bariatric Surgery under Dr. Jacques Himpens in Dendermonde, Belgium, training courses in Urology, Orthopaedics, Colo Proctology, Oncology, Basic and Advanced Laparoscopic training and Trauma Management courses. He also has training in Advanced management of Varicose veins, haemorrhoids and anal fistulae including laser treatments of the above mentioned disorders. Dr. Sathish Kumar has work experience spans for 18 years in various hospitals in India namely, as a Consultant Surgeon and Professor of Surgery in PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (PSG IMS&R), Coimbatore, India and as Consultant Surgeon and Professor in Karpagam Faculty of Medical Sciences and Research (KFMS & R), Coimbatore, India. He also has work experience in one of the prominent hospitals in Dubai and Sharjah as a Specialist A surgeon. Dr.Sathish Kumar's special interests include advanced laparoscopic procedures, newer treatment of varicose veins, haemorrhoids and anal fistulae, laparoscopic surgery for all types of hernia, laparoscopic surgery for gastro oesophageal reflux disease, surgeries of the breast and thyroid and bariatric surgery. He is also trained and is well versed in diagnostic and therapeutic Upper and Lower GI Endoscopies. Dr. Sathish Kumar has to his credit, several publications and papers presented in international and national conferences and research publications in indexed journals.
Dr. Nazim AlRifai
Dr. Nazim AlRifai has completed Bachelors in Medicine & Surgery and MD (General Surgery) from Damascus University, Syria. He has completed MRSCI – (Member of Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland). He is also trained in ATLS - (Advanced Life Trauma Support) from American College of Surgeons and has completed certified program in Mediaarthistories from Danube University of KREMS, Austria. Dr. Nazim AlRifai has vast experience of over 20 years in Bariatric, Obesity Surgery & Weight Management. He has worked as a Surgeon in several prominent hospitals in the UAE and the Middle East. He also is an adjunct professor, lecturer and examiner in several prominent universities and medical colleges in Europe and the UAE. Dr. Nazim is a surgeon of excellence of bariatric & obesity from the American Surgical Review Corporation.
Dr. Hazim K. Al Mance Dr. Hazim K. Al Mance received his M.B.CH.B from Mosul University in Iraq (1986). Dr. Mance worked as a Specialist Surgeon in the General Surgery Department and Endoscopy Unit at Al Rashid Hospital (1987 – 2003). He joined thereafter as a Specialist Surgeon and early detection of breast cancer program in Al Elwiya Teaching Hospital, Baghdad (2003 – 2007). Dr. Mance also worked as Specialist Surgeon and Medical Director in MMC, and EIH, as well as the Colorectal Department in Piedmont Hospital, Atlanta, USA, giving him an overall of 27 years of experience in General & Laparoscopic Surgery. Dr. Mance acquired the Certificate of the Arab Board of Medical Specialization in General Surgery (1997).
