Dr Mahasin Shaheen
Dr Shaheen has extensive experience in the practice and teaching of Internal Medicine. She's currently working as Consultant Internal Medicine in Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Dealing with wide range of Medical Disorders in Emergency as well as Outpatient and Inpatient department. Prior to joining Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abu Dhabi, UAE, Dr Shaheen was working in Dubai Police Head Quarter Polyclinic and Dubai Medical Specialized Center. She was Consultant Internal Medicine in Soba University Hospital. She is Assistant Professor Medicine in University of Khartoum, Omdurman and Dubai Medical and Pharmacy Medical College. She is participating as examiner and member of committee of objective structural clinical examination (OSCE) and Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education International Program of Resident Evaluation (ACGEM-I) She is a member of various National and International Medical Associations, including Emirate Medical Association and American Physician Association. Dr Shaheen has many published papers in International Journals, presented in several Local and International Conferences.
Dr Mohsin Abbas
Dr Mohsin Abbas is presently working as a Consultant Rheumatologist in the Al Qassimi Hospital Sharjah. He manages patients across all domains of rheumatology. Dr Abbas was trained as a specialist registrar in Rheumatology & General Internal Medicine in the North Western deanery of the UK. Following the acquisition of the Certificates of Completion of Training in Rheumatology & General Internal Medicine from the General Medical Council of the UK he worked as a Consultant Rheumatologist in the UK for 2 years & now in the UAE for the last 6 years & 10 months. He has special interest in the management of inflammatory arthritis. A keen teacher, he has passion for the undergraduate & postgraduate teaching & training. He has presented extensively in multiple educational meetings & conferences. Presently he is participating in a research project looking at the comorbidities in the rheumatoid arthritis patients in the UAE.
Dr. Ahmad Lutfi Subhi
Born in Baghdad, Iraq and a graduate of University of Baghdad, college of medicine in 1997. I finished my internal medicine at Hahnemann hospital- Drexel University in Philadelphia, state of Pennsylvania and I completed my training with fellowships in Infectious Disease at Cooper University Hospital- UMDNJ in New Jersey State.
I have more than eleven years of experience as a licensed physician in USA; my experience was in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease with special interest in Hepatitis C virus, HIV and infectious disease in immune compromised patients. In addition to my role as a clinician, I am a member of Infection control and Central antibiotic stewardship committee; I am a member of the Infectious disease society of American, board certified by the American Board of Medicine.
