College of Medicine is experiencing a significant increase in the research activity including basic and clinical research. This represents a key component of the university vision towards research and prerequisite for several aspects including faculty development and promotions. Therefore, it important to establish a well-structured educational program for research.
CREATE is a continuous research educational program that aims to improve the quality of the faculty research and to establish new standards that are comparable to the international standards. This will also be reflected in the long-term on how the international reviewers will evaluate the research work that will be produced in the college.
The program involves different types of educational sessions including lectures, interactive sessions in blackboard, practical sessions and quizzes. The facilitators are from University of Sharjah and from other sectors. The program is available for all faculty who are interested, once or twice a month. Coordinator of the program is Dr. Bashair M Mussa.
