Academic Advisory Meeting with Students

The College of Law at the University of Sharjah organized an orientation meeting for undergraduate and postgraduate students on Thursday, February 11, 2021, via visual communication on the Zoom website, where the meeting was chaired by Prof. Imad El Din Ahmad Abdul Hay, Dean of the College and a number of professors, faculty members and supervisors.

The dean welcomed the faculty members and students and explained to them the importance of the meeting in order to communicate with students and remove any obstacles that may be faced. Prof. Abdel-Hay listened to the students' comments and the proposals they made for the development of the academic advising process and assured them that their proposals will be taken into consideration and will be studied as they are an integral part of the university.

The meeting mainly dealt with the following points: -

• Strengthening the bonds of cooperation between the faculty and students. Through (holding periodic meetings with students, establishing a group by any means of visual communication, reducing the number of academic warnings for students, increasing the percentage of graduates during the time allocated for graduation in each program).
