The Department of Mass Communication comprises three tracks; Radio & Television, Graphic Design & Multi-Media, and Print Journalism.
The Radio & Television track prepares students to work in broadcast media outlets. Students are trained in video shooting and editing and TV production; they are also taught how to present and direct programs for radio and TV.
The Graphic Design & Multimedia track provides students with skills that enable them to design in 2D & 3D formats in addition to web and interactive designs.
The Print Journalism track equips students with knowledge and skills for writing and editing that lead them to write concise quality journalistic materials. They are expected to master the processes of writing and editing for newspapers and magazines. Students also learn basic skills of news layout and design that qualify them for working in print and web-based publications.
